Edvald Boasson Hagen soloed to victory on stage 3 at the Tour of Norway, after a particularly strong team performance. Joris Nieuwenhuis (SUN) crossed the line in second with Alexander Kristoff (UAE) finishing third.
After the early running, a break of three riders escaped and were brought back with around 30km of racing left. From then, our team impressively stamped their authority on the race. They sat at the front of the bunch, setting a high tempo for the pack, while also working hard to protect Boasson Hagen.
A late attack by Carl Fredrik Hagen (LTS) was neutralised and saw the final stretch of racing feature Boasson Hagen, along with Ben Swift, attacking off the front. With the peloton closing in, Boasson Hagen gave one final push and soled to a memorable victory.
With his win today, Edvald Boasson Hagen also moves top of the general classification.
