Mark Cavendish and Mark Renshaw will both race at the upcoming Tour de Yorkshire as part of our six-man team selected for the event.
Both featured in our lineup in 2018 in a race that’s become synonymous for its fantastic support from the local fans.
They will have alongside them the experience of Bernie Eisel as well exciting neo-pro Rasmus Tiller, who both have recently been part of our Classics campaign.
Also included are the duo of Nic Dlamini and Tom-Jelte Slagter, who will both be looking at taking advantage of their skills on some of the punchier portions of the course that have become a feature of the event.
Previous editions have seen our team achieve excellent results at this race, including a GC victory for former rider Serge Pauwels, and we look forward to returning to race in front of the Yorkshire crowds.
He said it:
“I’m really excited to heading back to the Tour de Yorkshire along with my Dimension Data for Qhubeka teammates to race in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
“I really enjoyed the tough but beautiful parcours last year as I rode the race for the first time, and look forward to seeing what’s in store for us in the 2019.
“Over and above the racing though, it always blows my mind to see the incredible support of the fans. With my family from Yorkshire, it makes it so special and I can’t wait to see them all again.” – Mark Cavendish
“We are really looking forward to participating at the Tour de Yorkshire. It’s always a great race, really well organised and the fans are absolutely amazing.
“In terms of our team we’ve selected a good mix of riders and look forward to contesting in each of the four stages.” – Hendrik Redant
