Team Qhubeka NextHash target Eurometropole Tour

Tomorrow Team Qhubeka NextHash will race the UCI 1.Pro Eurometropole Tour. The Belgian semi-classic will cover 176km before finishing in Tournai.

The Eurometropole Tour is back on the calendar this year and Team Qhubeka NextHash look forward to taking on the challenging Belgian semi-classic once again.

The last time our South African World Tour team took part in the event, Reinardt Janse van Rensburg sprinted to a 7th place finish, back in 2018.

As in 2018, an undulating course that includes 5 laps of a finishing circuit around Tournai, should provide for an exciting race with numerous opportunities to attack. As history tells us though, a reduced group sprint is likely to decide the winner.

Janse van Rensburg will return to the Eurometrople Tour tomorrow, hoping to emulate his performance of some years ago. He will be joined by Max Walscheid, Michael Gogl, Simon Clarke, Dimitri Claeys and Connor Brown.

The race will get underway at 13:00 (CET) and will also be broadcast live across Europe, check you local listings for the schedule.
