NTT Pro Cycling is delighted to announce an exciting line-up for one of the highlights of the calendar, the Ronde van Vlaanderen, on Sunday.
Michael Valgren and Edvald Boasson Hagen will count among our headline selections with Michael Gogl, who was ninth at Strade Bianchi and performed so well at the Tour de France, set to play a key role on the day as our road captain.
Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Max Walscheid will be looking to build on their recent outings at Gent-Wevelgem and Schelderprijs as the season starts to wind down. Impressive youngsters Samuele Battistella and Rasmus Tiller will have vital roles in support.
We encourage all local supporters to watch the race at home and to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Michael Valgren- Rider
“The Tour of Flanders is the biggest one, in my opinion. It’s a race I really love, I haven’t done it that many times (three times), and I have been preparing for this race since after the Tour. I already have butterflies in my stomach so that is a really good sign. I am really looking forward to racing and hope we can race well as a team. It is important to be a good team, and I am looking forward to smashing it together, in what will be one of our last races during this special season.”
Lars Michaelsen – Head Sports Director
“We are motivated for “De Ronde” – one of professional cycling’s Five Monuments: The Queen of Belgium Classics. This will be special. Racing this race at the end of October compared to the normal date, mid-April suddenly includes falling leaves and chestnuts on the road. Never-the-less our passion for this race remains the same. We have been doing our recon of the racecourse and will see if we can come up with a positive surprise against the big favourites, like Wout Van Aert, Mattieu Van Der Poel and Alaphilippe among others ….”
