Munsterland Giro gets our final month of racing underway, with the German UCI 1.HC event taking place on Wednesday 3 October. The 198km semi-classic will cover 198km and it is the sprinters that will have high hopes of a result.
Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka head to the Munsterland Giro with an experienced lineup, led by Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Edvald Boasson Hagen. Our South African has shown some decent end of season form and will look forward to being back on German roads, after his successful Deutschland Tour back in September.
Boasson Hagen, fresh from the World Championships last Sunday, will be joined by stagiaire Connor Swift, Bernie Eisel, Nic Dougall, Scott Thwaites and Julien Vermote for the German single day race.

This has been a sprinter’s race over the last few years and we don’t expect any different tomorrow. We have a very good line up here for this kind of race, so we are really looking forward to it.

Münster is famous for many things, two of which are the Münsterlander dog and the bicycle.
The city of Münster is considered a pioneer in sustainability. With twice as many bicycles as residents, it’s plain to see why it’s Germany’s “bicycle Capital”.
So with so many bikes it’s only a matter of time before the dogs start to ride too.
