Team Qhubeka ASSOS riders are readying themselves for a chance of achieving national pride and glory this week, with numerous national championship titles up for grabs.
The following Qhubeka ASSOS riders will be in action over the coming weekend, as they challenge for the national road titles of their respective nations.
Belgium – Sander Armee, Victor Campenaerts & Dimitri Claeys
Italy – Fabio Aru, Giacomo Nizzolo, Domenico Pozzovivo
Switzerland – Kilian Frankiny, Mauro Schmid
Denmark – Andreas Stokbro, Emil Vinjebo
Spain – Carlos Barbero
Austria – Michael Gogl
Netherlands – Bert-Jan Lindeman
Czech Republic – Karel Vacek
Germany – Max Walscheid
Poland – Lukasz Wisniowski
Walscheid, Campenaerts and Schmid will also be vying for top honours in the individual time trial discipline on Wednesday (Belgium), Thursday (Switzerland) & Saturday (Germany).
Team Qhubeka ASSOS already has one national success this year, coming from Marc Pritzen, who won the South African elite road race in March.
One’s to Watch
Giacomo Nizzolo will start as the defending champion in Italy while Michael Gogl will be hoping to add a gold medal to the silver and bronze he already has from 2019 & 2020, respectively. Max Walscheid has been in great time trialing form this year and his race against the clock should be a great watch!
