It was a long stage at the Giro d’Italia today, measuring just over 235km. If the constantly undulating nature of the parcour wasn’t enough of a test, then the technical nature of the final 15km would sure be. Initially. Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka were looking to Ryan Gibbons and Enrico Gasparotto for the finale but unfortunately, neither were able to stretch their legs and go for a result as our entire team was caught behind a mass crash with 6.5km.
