The 73rd La Vuelta ciclista a España drew to a close today with a 100,9km stage running from Alcorcón to the circuit finish in Madrid. As expected, the stage ended in a bunch sprint and Elia Viviani (Quick-Step Floors) took the final stage win ahead of Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) and Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek-Segafredo). Ryan Gibbons took another top 10 spot for Team Dimension Data. At this year’s race, Team Dimension Data walked away with two stage wins, thanks to Ben King’s summit finish wins on stage 4 and stage 9. Ben King was also our highest placed rider in the general classification, finishing 24th overall..
