The Tour de Pologne came to a conclusion on Friday in Bukowina Tatrzańska with hometown favourite Michal Kwiatkowski (Team Sky) holding on for overall victory. Merhawi Kudus produced another strong finish, thanks to excellent teamwork, to finish 5th on stage four of the Vuelta a Burgos, behind stage-winner Carlos Barbero (Movistar). Marco Tizza (Nippo-Fantini) was second and Nicola Bagioli (Nippo-Fantini) was third. While Kudus’performance sees him retain his third place in the GC competition.
