Stage 3 of the Criterium du Dauphine saw the breakaway get the better of the sprint teams once again as Koen Bouwman (Team LottoNL-Jumbo) took the win ahead of Evaldas Siskevicius (Delko Marseille) and Frederik Backaert (Wanty Groupe Gobert). Once again it looked like the perfect day for another sprint finish at the Criterium du Dauphine but just like on stage 1, the early break of the day had other ideas. 6 riders got away in the opening kilometers of today’s 184km stage and they quickly got their gap up to over 6-minutes. Lotto-Soudal kept tabs on the break but it was up to main.
On Thursday 8 June, Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka will once again lineup for the GP du canton d’Argovie in Switzerland. The UCI 1.HC event has been a regular fixture on our African Team’s calendar over the last few years and we are happy to be back again. The 54th edition of the GP du canton d’Argovie takes place on Thursday and our African Team will hope to keep its good run of results at the Swiss event going this week. The familiar 188km circuit course is one which Kristian Sbaragli has taken a particular liking to by placing 4th last year and 5th in.
