This Saturday, Vuelta al Pais Vasco concluded with a 27.7 km long individual time trial in Eibar. The Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka riders put up a good fight with Spanish climber Omar Fraile as our top finisher. On an undulating course, with a 6 km climb at the beginning, today’s time trial proved to be one for the GC riders. The former world champion, Vasil Kiryienka (Team Sky) set an early reference time but it didn’t take long before first Michael Matthews (Sunweb) and then the overall favorites passed him. At the end, it was Primož Roglič (LottoNL-Jumbo) who won the stage, while Alejandro.
