Jacques Janse van Rensburg took the win at the South African Championships in style today. Once again we had Craig Dutton out there to capture the race for us. Reinardt Janse van Rensburg, Louis Meintjes and Jay Thomson rode a strong race and made sure to fly the MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung flag in style. In the U23 category Jayde Julius was able to get the better of his teammates from our very own MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung feeder team.
It was another early start for our riders at the South African Championships. With defending champion Louis Meintjes at the start line the pressure was on MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung. Tyler Farrar underlined his strong performance at the Herald Sun Tour with another podium finish. After 147km from Mitchelton Winery to Nagambie he came home in second position, with only Australian Caleb Ewan (Orica-Greenedge) being faster across the line.
